Daniel Chung

Daniel served as the lead church planter of Beloved Community Church in Chicago, IL from its launch in 2014 until 2023. Originally from Virginia, he completed his MA in Biblical Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL, before moving to Chicago in 2011 to help with another church plant. He has a heart for shepherding, sharing the gospel, and worshiping. Daniel led the church through many seasonal and locational changes, most recently the upheaval from the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite the different seasons, Daniel can testify to the Lord’s faithfulness and is looking forward to seeing what is in store for the next season. Daniel and his wife, Kate, have been married since 2015. They have three children, Benjamin (6), Laura Grace (4) and Clara (2).
